Van Alstyne Junior High was placed in a Hold status this afternoon (per Standard Response Protocol) due to a medical emergency. As a precaution, students and staff were asked to remain in their classrooms in order to keep the hallways empty while EMS responded to the situation. Classroom learning continued throughout the Hold, and all school operations have returned to normal. The safety and security of your child is our top priority. We will continue to keep you informed about important concerns at our school
