Van Alstyne ISD is in the process of migrating to a new Student Information System! We expect the transition to be complete by mid-July.
Once the migration is finalized, we’ll be sending out important details on how to create your new Parent Portal account. 📲✨

We’re excited about the enhanced features and new opportunities this system will bring for students, parents, and staff alike! Stay tuned — we’ll also be sharing how to download the new app and navigate the system as soon as it’s ready to launch.

Van Alstyne Junior High was made aware of  a potential threat toward the campus on February 28, 2025.  The campus administration along with the Van Alstyne ISD Police department quickly investigated and found the threats were unsubstantiated.  The safety and security of your child is our top priority. We will continue to keep you informed about important concerns at our school.

8th Grade Parents,

We are so excited to begin the first step of welcoming your eighth graders to VAHS! What an exciting chapter of life this will be! We would like to schedule about 20 minutes to visit with you and hopefully your student about their schedule options for next year and answer any questions you might have.
