Mrs. Timpanaro has completed her thirteenth year in education, and her fifth year as the Assistant Principal at VAMS. She brings a wealth of teaching experience in various subjects including ELAR, writing, reading intervention, Texas history, U.S. history, science, and coached at the middle and high school levels. Throughout her career, she has also excelled as an instructional coach and ELAR department chair. Mrs. Timpanaro acquired her Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2010, followed by a Master of Educational Administration in 2013.

Mrs. Timpanaro is thrilled to continue being a part of the Van Alstyne ISD community while serving as the Principal at the Junior High, where her passion for ensuring every child's learning journey is successful drives her work. Her dedication extends to providing unwavering support to both students and teachers. As she ushers in the new academic year at Van Alstyne, Mrs. Timpanaro eagerly anticipates collaborating with the school's welcoming staff to create a nurturing educational environment.

Ms. Cholette has nine years of experience in education, with seven years dedicated to teaching 8th-grade RLA at Van Alstyne Middle School. She holds a business degree from the University of Michigan, an education degree from Western Governor's University, and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She is thrilled to take on the Junior High Assistant Principal role and looks forward to collaborating with the staff and community to enhance the education of our students.
